Job Description

Core BTS seeks an IT Support Technician to provide levels 1-2 troubleshooting and support in an education setting. The support technician will work under the direction of a Technology Manager.

Primary duties include:

• PC and peripheral support (i.e., computers, tablets,document cameras, interactive whiteboards, printers, etc.)

o Hardware repair / replacement

o Initial setup / configuration

o Driver / software upgrades

• Operating System  /Application support

o End user knowledge transfer

o Customer configuration support

o System imaging

• Miscellaneous help desk ticket remediation

• General assembly support

o Provide setup / breakdown of I.T. resources required formeetings and other general assemblies

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of technical support experience, education, certifications, or a combination, along with a desire to learn and motivation to excel in a customer service-centric environment.

Experience and/or education in computer networking, PC/Mac environments, server support, phone system administration, Cisco hardware, Exchange,and virtual environments are highly desired.
