Joe Cooper Easy Credit Auto in Midwest City is Oklahoma City’s most reputable “Buy Here Pay Here” auto retail stores.  Our goal is to help people achieve transportation independence.  We are currently hiring Collections Agents. Based out of our retail store in Midwest City, this position is responsible for counseling and assisting our current customers in determining their best payment option(s) in an effort to bring their existing auto payments current.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Placing outbound calls and accepting inbound calls from customers
• Utilizing communication and negotiation skills to resolve delinquent accounts
• Locating and speaking with customers and/or following up on previous payment arrangements
• Displaying tact with ability to resolve challenging situations professionally and calmly in a firm but friendly manner.

• Previous experience in collections required.  Automotive industry preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong negotiation, counseling and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Mon – Fri.  40 hours/week.  Rotating Saturdays.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background inquiry.
