Job Description

Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon is accepting applications for a Sales Department Lot Attendant / Porter. 

The Lot Attendant/Porter helps ensure complete customer buying experience and satisfaction by moving and staging vehicles in and around the sales lot and showroom while maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the sales lot.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, and maturity to be entrusted with valuable property. Previous experience not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives and stages vehicles on the sales lot and showroom. Drive and handle cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention and protecting dealership property
  • Keep track of vehicle locations accounting for all cars on the lot
  • Assist in maintaining a orderly and clean sales lot and showroom
  • Ensure cleanliness of the interior and exterior of vehicles on the lot
  • Drive off-site to run dealership errands
  • May perform basic maintenance tasks such as charging batteries, filling up on gas, oil and other fluids.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Experience in a similar role a plus
