Job Description

The Project Manager Level II role plays a pivotal role in leading the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex security technology projects for our diverse client base. The role requires a deep understanding of security technology, and exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

Project Planning and Execution: 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. 

  • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively to meet project goals. 

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.

Client Engagement: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and providing regular project updates. 

  • Collaborate with clients to define project objectives and expectations.

Resource Management: 

  • Allocate resources, both internal and external, to projects based on requirements and availability. 

  • Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support. 

  • Ensure that project teams have the necessary tools, equipment, and training to perform their roles effectively.

Quality Assurance: 

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards. 

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to project specifications.

Financial Management: 

  • Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. 

  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, demonstrating financial performance and forecasting.

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and change orders. 

  • Provide regular updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders. 

Other Duties: Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred. 

  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience, preferably in the security technology industry. 

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. 

  • Strong understanding of security technology systems and solutions. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. 

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. 

  • A commitment to quality and client satisfaction. 

  • United States Citizen. 

  • Security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required, depending on the specific project and client requirements.
