    Job Description

    The Director of Army Programs at Convergint Federal | SigNet Technologies is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Army programs. This role involves strategic planning, program development, relationship building, and the successful execution of initiatives to support the United States Army's security and mission-critical requirements. As the Director of Army Programs, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, ensuring program success, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Strategy and Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the strategic vision for Army programs, aligning with the company's mission and goals.
    • Provide leadership and direction to program teams, ensuring that all initiatives meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual requirements.

    Business Development:

    • Identify new business opportunities and lead efforts to secure contracts and projects with the U.S. Army.
    • Maintain and expand relationships with key Army decision-makers, partners, and contractors.               

    Program Management:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of Army programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Monitor program progress and report regularly to company leadership and Army clients.                   

    Team Management:

    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of program managers and subject matter experts.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Army Programs department.                   

    Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure that all programs and contracts are in compliance with relevant regulations, including security and safety protocols.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to prevent disruptions to program execution.                   

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong, enduring relationships with Army clients, addressing their needs, and identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
    • Proven experience in managing and directing military or government-related programs, preferably with a focus on the U.S. Army.
    • Demonstrated success in business development, contract negotiation, and securing government contracts.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with military clients and stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of government contracting and procurement processes.
    • An understanding of security and technology solutions is a plus.
    • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
