Job Description

Convergint Federal is looking for a few energetic and resourceful Cyber professionals specializing in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to include wiring documentation and the ability to obtain an Authorization To Operate (ATO) in Naples, Italy, Jacksonville, Florida, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii, and Washington, DC. The position will be a part of our CNIC N6 Region program initiative and will be headquartered at our corporate office in Columbia, MD. The candidate will be expected to perform the following functions or tasks:

  • Support all the aspects of the authorization of applications and systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or other approved required process to receive an Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) or an Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Support all aspects of system categorization, security control selection, security control implementation, security control assessment, system authorization, and continuous monitoring phases to include developing, tracking, maintaining, and developing and submitting the necessary documentations.
  • Perform regular security scans of IT applications and systems using tools such as ACAS and or any other required and approved scanners. 
  • Upload scan results to the required portals.
  • Provide support in decommissioning IT systems, including its authorization packages. 
  • Perform management of classified spaces when required.
  • Follow all appropriate and applicable directives, guidance, regulations and procedures in the usage, management and administration of classified spaces.

Qualifications


•    Clearance: Secret (or ability to obtain)
•    Must meet IAM Level 3 requirements with a certification in CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, OR CCISO


Desired Experience: Prior Navy related experience.

Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems (or related fields) or fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in a cyber environment to include an active role using RMF.

•    Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. 
•    Technical skills and experience related to RMF 
•    Programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions 
•    Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude. 
•    Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
•    Basic organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple service needs simultaneously 
•    Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
•    Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.
