Job Description

Provide vulnerability management support of Federal Risk Management Framework (RMF) program.  Conduct hands-on technical support through performing ACAS/Nessus/SCAP scans in assessing information system compliance with DoD and RMF standards.  Review, verify, and validate required DoD RMF documentation and artifacts in accordance with DoD Instruction 8510.01, RMF for DoD IT, and any applicable federal or military RMF Process Guide (RPG). Analyze and process the artifacts required to obtain and maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) for information systems. Perform quality assurance reviews for required content on all packages in the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process in accordance with applicable government agency checklist.  Conduct RMF tasks and collaboration activities. Support the client in managing and conducting continuous monitoring. Perform RMF and FISMA data collection, analysis, reporting, and metrics generation.

Qualifications

-2+ years performing vulnerability scans utilizing vulnerability management tools (Nessus/ACAS/SCAP) to include troubleshooting

-4+ years of experience with DoD Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, and RMF

-Experience with conducting and supporting the RMF tasks (Step 1-6)

-Experience with using RMF tools, including eMASS, to process and update RMF packages

-Experience with DISA STIGs, hardening systems and applying IA controls

-Knowledge and understanding of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF Special Publications

-Ability to conduct security control selection, tailoring, and overlays

-Ability to use vulnerability assessment scanning tools and provide related reporting

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio, Project

 -US Citizen

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 Series IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CASP, etc.) with Computing Environment (CE) Certification

-Willing to travel (25%)

Additional Information

-Experience performing Army or Air Force implementation or assessment of Cybersecurity controls

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field

-DoD 8570 Series IAM Level III Certification
