Job Description
Your tasks will include the following activities:
Business Partner Due Diligence (BPDD)
- Act as key advisor to business units and regions on BPDD requirements, including data, screening, and risk evaluation
- Own and continuously enhance the risk-based BPDD framework, ensuring effective and compliant execution
- Maintain and update BPDD standards, policies, and manuals
- Review and approve due diligence assessments, including high- and medium-risk partners
- Define and advise on appropriate mitigation measures (e.g., contractual safeguards)
Tools & Systems
- Global implementation, and optimization of BPDD tool and consistent application of related process
- Oversee ongoing tool performance, monitoring, and process effectiveness
Business Partner Code of Conduct
- Own and evolve the Business Partner Code of Conduct (policy and process)
- Advise stakeholders globally on Code of Conduct requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of related processes
Initiatives, reporting & training
- Support design and implementation of compliance initiatives (e.g., communication)
- Develop and deliver training on BPDD and Code of Conduct processes
- Provide regular reports and risk assessments to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Academic degree in Law / Business Law or comparable qualification, full qualified lawyer or legal counsel
- Several years of professional experience in the field of compliance and Business Partner Compliance i.e. Due Diligence/KYC Programs/ Business Partner Integrity, preferably in an international context (5 years) and 3+ years’ experience within compliance, legal, audit and/or risk function.
- Experience in Business Partner Compliance and Compliance management systems and in developing policies and procedures
- Project management experience, ability to manage multiple initiatives in an international context
- Very good handling of Microsoft Office software
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken); German or other language skills preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a strong team player mentality
- Strong intercultural competence, experience working with teams across corporate structures
