Join the New Braunfels, TX team for the exciting journey of a new facility start-up (Greenfield). The $110 million facility will manufacture Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving.

 

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand the importance of preventative maintenance
  • Possess good problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex machines, and investigate malfunctions to root cause
  • Use schematics, machine specifications, manuals and standard operating procedures to determine tasks to be performed
  • Ability to mentor, and train operations personnel in proper machine maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Support efforts to meet line product DPMO, OEE, and Scrap goals and equipment MTBF goals
  • Be proactive and promote teamwork between the technicians and production operators
  • Interface; (support, assist, negotiate, consult) with: Engineers, peers, operators, supervision and management
  • Understands and complies with all procedures pertaining to a given work environment; provide suggestions for improvements

Monday through Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-2+ years repair or maintenance experience
• Good hand/eye/foot coordination required
• Ability to speak, read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Associates Degree 
• 3+ years repair or maintenance experience
• Familiarity with basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) 
• Familiarity with basic metrology (multi-meter, digital calipers, feeler gauges, etc.) 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Required to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to stand for periods up to 10+ hours
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop, walk, and stand for 10+ hours
• Able to work inside or outside in variable weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs with physical ease and without fear
• Ability to bend at waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action
