Job Description

Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments; identifies volume and strategic customers; and develops partnerships.

Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information and creates compelling market analysis presentations. Conduct analysis from a partnership/merger/acquisition perspective.

Executes and maintains key operational procedures for the U.S. and Canada for the Replacement and Original Equipment Commercial Specialty Tire (CST) team. Oversees responsibilities including sales reporting, product forecasting and supply chain, budgeting, project management and pricing and billing. Provides administrative support to group in planning and organizing meeting, events, trade shows and similar tasks.

Operations

· Oversees and maintains operational excellence, including processes and procedures that facilitate sales in U.S. replacement and original equipment.

· Responds to and handles internal and external customer inquiries in daily operation business.

· Acts as a liaison between Commercial Specialty business and related operational areas within Continental such as supply chain, warranty and research and development.

· Manage the development, administration and implementation of the Inside Sales objectives, training, personnel selection, salary administration, telephone systems, mainframe and P.C. systems support, programs, procedures and processes related to the sales and service to Commercial Specialty customers.

Administrative and Marketing/Events support

· Plans the marketing budget, implements the marketing plan, manager of marketing personnel.

· Plans and executes events, including team meetings, trade shows, and other events.

· Coordinates and completes Marketing budget and billing activities

· Assists in new team member onboarding

Reporting and Analytics

· Produces, communicates, and updates regular reports to internal and external customers.

· Drives the sales process by regularly providing sales forecasting, supply chain, and budget data.

Project Management

· Coordinates projects as needed related to strategic pricing, profit analysis, inventory management and sales process effectiveness.

Inside Sales

· Manages CST inside sales team. Sets goals, strategy and implementation.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related area and 7+ years related experience OR 14+ years of related experience if no relevant Bachelor’s degree.

  • Attention to detail
