      Job Description

      Join Continental's Digital Solutions Department as an MLOps Engineer.

      In Digital Solutions, we drive innovation for connected mobility and deliver cutting-edge digital products to our global fleet customers. As an MLOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming machine learning solutions into robust, scalable, and production-ready systems that generate real business value.

      You will work at the intersection of Machine Learning, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps, building and operating the platforms, automation, and tooling that enable our Data Science teams to deploy and manage machine learning models efficiently and reliably. If you are passionate about production-grade ML systems, workflow automation, and enabling AI at scale, this is the role for you.

      This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical MLOps capabilities, collaborate with experienced data professionals, and shape the future of AI-driven solutions within a global organization.

      Main responsibilities:

      • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models, from experimentation to production deployment
      • Build, operate, and continuously improve scalable MLOps infrastructure using modern cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code practices
      • Develop and automate end-to-end machine learning workflows, including model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
      • Manage and optimize the ML model lifecycle using MLflow, ensuring reproducibility, traceability, and operational excellence
      • Implement monitoring, observability, and feedback mechanisms to ensure model performance, reliability, and continuous improvement
      • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to productionize machine learning solutions and establish MLOps best practices
      • Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across machine learning development and deployment processes
      • Contribute to the evolution of Continental's MLOps platform and engineering standards

      Qualifications

      • Academic degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
      • Several years of hands-on experience as an MLOps Engineer in an industrial or commercial environment
      • Proven experience operating and supporting machine learning solutions in production environments
      • Strong hands-on experience with MLflow, including experiment tracking, model registry, deployment, and lifecycle management
      • Proven MLOps expertise in deploying scalable solutions on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
      • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing workflow automation solutions and ML pipeline orchestration
      • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
      • Expertise in CI/CD and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
      • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
      • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and monitoring solutions such as Grafana
      • Solid understanding of software engineering and DevOps best practices, including testing, version control, GitOps, and CI/CD design patterns
      • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
      • Proficient English language skills (written and spoken)
      • Experience working within international and cross-functional teams is considered a plus
