Job Description

  • Establish a sustainable customer relationship and ensure a consistent customer communication across the global regions (one voice to the customer), responsible for the Global Alignment
  • Handling of customer specific requirements including translation into internal specifications on global level and ensuring of compliance to all requirements
  • Lead cross-regional customer communication for quality related topics
  • Manage complaint handling and drive lessons learned process, and drive or assist problem-solving activities across regions
  • Align globally APQP and PPAP activities and support developers and Automotive Engineers for all quality related topics (e.g. change management)
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collect and analyze customer satisfaction data, maintain and publish global scorecards, and drive regional improvement initiatives.
  • Organize and accompany customer audits in cooperation with QM organization and maintain the OE audit plan, including tracking and follow up of defined action plans.
  • Represent account during external audits on Global Level (e.g. IATF 16949)
  • Support analysis and evaluation of technical Compliance concerns and cases as defined by the process

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree/graduate in mechanical engineering, natural science, industrial engineering or similar, ideally with additional business skills
  • Significant professional experience in automotive business, preferably with direct OEM customer contact and experience in handling of customer specific requirements
  • Good knowledge of general quality methods and tools, e.g. APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive Quality Standards (e.g: IATF 16949, AIAG, VDA 6.3 requirements)
  • Experience in problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of legal requirements
  • Technical know-how of tires would be preferable
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), Other language skills are beneficial 
  • Great communication skills (incl. negotiation, presentation and conflict resolution techniques)
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel (20% - sometimes on short notice)
