The Industrial Engineering Department (Tires) at our location Hanover-Stöcken is driving Manufacturing Efficiency and the Digital Transformation to achieve Operational Excellence.
Job Description
The quality department of research and development for tires at our location in Hanover-Stöcken is responsible for the quality of our development processes.
In this exciting environment, we offer a mandatory internship starting in May 2025 with the subsequent option of a thesis. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internships is possible, with the mandatory part lasting at least 12 weeks. For the best learning experience, the internship should last 6 months.
Tasks include:
- Collaborating on the improvement of the tire product development process based on analyses of existing data, such as development results and market performance
- Collaborating on the further development of quality-related training, including support in implementation
- Supporting the development of meaningful quality metrics
- Collaborating on the further development of Continental's knowledge management (Yokoten)
Qualifications
- Students (m/f/diverse) in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Communication Sciences, Education, or comparable courses of study
- Ideally with a focus/specialization in Data Science and/or Quality Management
- Proficient in using common MS Office-programs (Excel)
- Basic knowledge of database techniques
- Desirable: Knowledge of data processing in Tableau or PowerBI
- Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
- German language skills are an advantage
- Valuable team player
- Good communication skills
- Structured working method
