Job Description
- Arrange that all quality-related and safety-relevant aspects during the development & launch process are covered in production (internal, supplier, and customer).
- Pro-active input into product and process design (according to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)).
- Support the product requalification process according to the Control Plan.
- Contribute to and submit the PPAP package to the customer. This includes internal PPAP approval (signing of all stakeholders of the project) and escalation if needed;
- Ensure that parts are only delivered with customer approval.
- Create Control Plan with the project team based on D/P FMEA and prototype/sample Control Plan (under consideration of all requirements, i.e. Law, Customer Requirements regarding Product & Process).
- Support the customer complaint management activities.
- Support the preparations for the product-related customer audits.
- Perform product audit.
- Coordinate improvement projects.
- Provide quality reports.
- Support the release of tooling and equipment.
- Provision of all quality-related costs for calculation and budgetary purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in Engineering/Quality management-related fields (industrial, mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics)
- Previous working experience in manufacturing, especially electronics or semiconductors is a big advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of quality control methods, standards, and tools (eg. 6 sigmas, FMEA, IATF, VDA rules, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Good command of English: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
