Job Description
You will be part of the purchasing team, assisting to:
- Perform strategic and tactical purchasing activities in a group of assigned indirect materials & services, with the objective to establish optimum total cost of ownership
- Lead and drive tender or request for proposal
- Conduct thorough analysis and management of contractual agreements to prepare for renegotiations or subsequent negotiations, initiate necessary measures, and ensure the continuity of supplies.
- Conduct supplier selection, establish criteria, and prepare decisions for the requesting departments to ensure a defined and documented sourcing process.
- Supplier management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain
- Align with purchasing process methods & tools and ensure compliance of global and country policies as well as category management
- Perform ad hoc duties as requested
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or similar related field of study
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with Asia and Europe offices will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to commit for at least 6 months
