Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for proper receiving, shipping, storing, handling, and transporting of materials. Also responsible for preparation of material for shipment and properly receiving, handling, and shipment of all materials.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate material handling equipment to receive and ship material as required.
- Properly receive, handle and store material as directed.
- Ensure that material is available to support production schedule.
- Verify documentation of receipts from suppliers and shipments to customers.
- Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be certified to operate a PIV (Power Industrial Vehicle) or able to obtain.
- Computer skills
- Detail Oriented
- Organizational skills
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds on a repetitive basis when loading the ASRS or removing material picks from unit load
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds when stacking material on pallets
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred:
- Certified to operate a PIV (Power Industrial Vehicle) or able to obtain.
