Job Description

The Regional Training Responsible ensures an optimized training delivery across the region, meeting training demands with the main objective to realize the competence strategy via learning coordination and provision

  • Optimizes training utilization across locations
    • Provides platform to utilize available seats in training sessions
    • Identifies overarching learning topic across region to increase the re-use as generic content
    • Supports and manages regional trainer communities and Local Training Responsibles (LTRs)
    • Acts as the first point of contact and first point of escalation for LTR-related issues, ensuring timely problem resolution
  • Coordinate with training providers (internal and external) at location and regional levels, adhering to legal and country-specific requirements incl. volume planning
  • Handles (own) regional training executions or steers external Managed Training Service provider to do so
    • Organizes / schedules classes in Continental’s Learning Management System (SAP SuccessFactors)
    • Handles ordering and accounting processes (if applicable) 
    • Books resources, ensures event preparation (e.g. guest speakers, trainer briefing, participant list, materials, facilities, technical equipment)
    • Handles bookings, cancellations and communication with 3rd parties (e.g. trainers, hotels, event locations)
    • Tracks participation status and manages participants
    • Documents status (e.g. status “learning successfully completed”)
    • Collects, consolidates and reports learning KPIs, quality and effectiveness evaluations and trigger corrective actions (if needed)  

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in areas of Human Resources/Business Administration, Information Technologies
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a highly virtual environment High system and process affinity
  • Ability to manage tasks & processes within a complex organization and ability to handle various stakeholders
  • Cross cultural communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eager to learn and accept new challenges in an agile environment
  • Confidence in dealing with people (personally and by phone)
  • Experiences with project work and project management processes
  • Fluent English knowledge is mandatory
  • Self-responsibility and self-discipline
  • Availability for business trips (world-wide)
  • Knowledge and/or Experience in area of Human Resources, related processes and tools will be a plus
  • Excel experience including creating pivot reports, VLOOKUPS, and charts/graphs will be a plus
  • Professional experience in Organizational Development and Performance Management topics as well as experience at a regional or Business Unit level is a plus.
