Job Description
The Makers Garage at our location Hannover-Stöcken is in charge of bringing ideas to life, by building the products in a modern lab and in an agile way. Within this exciting work environment, we are offering an internship position. Starting as soon as possible, we are looking for you to support our team for a period of 6 months,
Tasks include:
- Assist in user research and analysis to identify user needs and pain points
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test design concepts
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers to bring designs to life
- Conduct concept and usability testing to gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
Qualifications
- Students (m/f/diverse) that study UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, Communication Design, Media Computer Science or similar
- Ideally having a specialization in UX/UI Design
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience, working within a design system, using common shared components
- A portfolio showcasing your design projects and thought process
- Should have at least some understanding of web-development, to help collaboration with the engineering team
- Competent handling of MS-Office
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, Ability to analyze and visualize complex information
