Job Description

You will lead the Marketing Growth for the Tire Sector, which implies transformation in Brand management, Marketing Communication and Partnerships strategy. The role requires to bring outside-in perspective and benchmark to support organizational capability and marketing performance to grow. Key targets are to grow the marketing B2B and B2C performance, brand equity and ROI and will require acting as a Marketing evangelist at all level of the organization. Building high-performing teams and data-driven marketing organization is key for success. 

You will lead a team of Marketing & Communication experts with the ambition to evolve Continental marketing into a growth engine, by successfully leading the strategic initiatives in line with our Tires Vision 2030. 

In more detail you work on the following tasks: 

  • Brand Strategy and Governance: Driving marketing excellence across the organization, elevating marketing efforts through strategic guidance, cross-collaboration, support, and governance, and developing, deploying, and overseeing the overall brand strategy and performance towards the Tires organization. Growing and sustaining our brand equity with robust brand governance and consistent brand communication. 
  • Brand Measurement and Marketing Performance: Building brand loyalty with high performing campaigns, robust marketing intelligence and customer-centric practices 
  • Brand Partnership Management: Developing and implementing a comprehensive global strategy for sponsorships, partnerships, influencer marketing and co-branding aligned with the overall marketing strategy and business goals, ensuring consistency and maximizing ROI 
  • Marketing Center of Excellence: Driving continuous improvement and effectiveness of the marketing organization by accelerating the adoption of Marketing best practices across the globe and supporting capability development 
  • Marketing Capability Building: Building a resilient, innovative, and highly skilled marketing community capable of navigating the complexities of modern marketing and demanding customer/consumers. Acting as a Brand, Marketing Communication and Partnership evangelist towards the Tire Board and Marketing Heads 

Qualifications

  • Min 15 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 to 10 years at Global level within FMCG company, Media group or major industry leader. 
  • Solid experience leading major transformation within B2B and B2C marketing organizations 
  • Strategic thinker with track records driving business growth through customer centric marketing 
  • Leading leaders experience in diverse and multi-location teams 
  • Project management skills 
  • ROI-minded leader 
  • Early adopter in new technologies 
  • Agency management 
  • Professional working proficiency in English, ​no other language required​  
  • Open to travel up to ​20​% ​, incl. business trips abroad​

Additional Information

You will be part of the Global Marketing team for Continental Tires,  part of the Global Marketing Management Team and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. The role is posted as located in Madrid (Spain) but other countries could be considered.
