In the Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Centre of Continental, Autonomous Mobility, we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. Our team takes part in developing complex e2e labelling systems to support fusion based machine learning teams by creating optimized workflows and generating high quality ground truth data.

• Design and realization of a project tailored ground truth producing system by consolidation of stakeholder requirements
• Development of semi automatic ground truth delivery and evaluation system
• Support data pipeline development for efficient data pre-processing and storage.
• Reference system data processing to generate ground truth in a (semi-)automated way.

Your Tasks

• Lead the design and architecture of labelling systems by preparing and supporting high level decision making
• Participate in project planning, task estimation, and technical input for project timelines.
• Think in systems and explore opportunities to improve and streamline end-to-end processes by transforming abstract concepts into working solutions.
• Develop data pipeline concepts and prototypes, identify and solve performance bottlenecks etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software architects, AI developers, to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate the deployment process.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews to ensure adherence coding standards and best practices.

• University degree (BSc or higher) in a technical area: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent coding skills in Python.
• 5+ years of relevant job experience as software developer or software architect with a strong track record of successful software project delivery.
• Professional usage of software development tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in mentoring and training junior developers.
• Good command of English language.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience in lidar domain or in 3D data processing technics
• Experience in automotive area ( e.g base understanding of AUTOSAR concepts)
• Experience with cloud technologies and computer vision
• Experience with agile development methods.
