Job Description

In your role as System Engineer / Architect – Actuator Control (m/f/diverse) these are your interesting tasks and responsibilities:

  • Creating system architectures and technical concepts on Actuator ECU level
  • Designing and defining system functions according to customer requirements, taking into account aspects of functionality, quality, reliability/service life, functional safety ISO26262 as well as security 
  • Steering and coordinating disciplines like hardware, software and mechanical production
  • Analysing, evaluating and clarifying customer-, respectively standard-requirements together with the internal specialists (hardware, software and mechanics and system testing)
  • Coordinating system engineering activities during the development lifecycle
  • Providing technical guidance for the product management to define product platforms and roadmaps
  • Developing reusable and future-proof concepts based on state-of-the-art technologies
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary international teams

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
  • First experience in the field of development, ideally in an automotive environment, experience in  software and/or hardware development of control units
  • Good knowledge of the CAN and Ethernet protocols
  • Good knowledge of Automotive actuator systems
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 safety standard and cyber-security
  • Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Good planning and organizational skills, quick grasp, and analytical mindset as well as a high level of teamwork
  • Confident communication skills in an international and multicultural environment
