Job Description

Background

  • Determined position for one year to work in our Raw Material Introduction and Sustainable Materials Solutions Development Teams
  • Focus is on driving forward projects in sustainable materials as well as ensuring the continuous efficient introduction of new raw materials

Role Description

  • Work package owner in projects e.g., Tire Road Wear Particles, Recycling Solutions, other projects related to sustainable materials
  • Coordinating co-operations with development partners (suppliers, research institutes)
  • Identification of new technological trends via patent analysis, scientific research, visiting conferences
  • Screening of new (sustainable) materials for tire compounds and development of new innovative raw materials
  • Introducing raw materials into our organization and approve alternative sources of raw materials to reduce costs while securing same performance and quality
  • Assuring product stability by developing state of the art specifications
  • Managing and coordinating raw material development and introductions
  • Supplier interface management with all relevant external suppliers as well as interface to purchasing

Please note that this position is on a limited contract until 12/2024.

Qualifications

  • Academic Degree in Material Sciences
  • Ideally experience in the area of rubber chemistry
  • First experience in Project Management
  • Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Planning & organizational skills
  • High customer orientation and good networking competencies
  • Innovative and visionary spirit
