Job Description
The role of the Credit Analyst includes following tasks:
• Perform all necessary collections to ensure that the specific account portfolio is as current as possible. Activities will include contacting customers via telephone, email and letters.
• Manage all customer deductions through to resolution and removal from the customer’s account either via collection, credit or write off.
• Analyze customers’ credit limit, A/R aging status, and customer payment habits & commitments to recommend changes in credit facilities or order status.
• Prepare annual credit reviews for review to the Credit Supervisor or Credit Manager for review and approval.
• Projects and tasks that serve the departments short term needs and long range goals.

Qualifications
BASIC:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of relevant credit experience in lieu of
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
- Problem solving skills to identify root causes of routine problems/issues by asking probing questions and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution.
- Time management skills in balancing multiple priorities along with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in a self-directed manner while maintaining a high level of responsiveness to internal and external customer needs.
- Negotiation skills to negotiate through collaboration to arrive at a conclusion using persuasion, diplomacy, and compromise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.
- Ability to maintain professional customer service manner when dealing with dissatisfied customers and demonstrate empathy for the customers situation.
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships across functional areas.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa support for individuals.

PREFERRED:
- 2-5+ years of commercial credit and collections experience
- Bachelor's Degree
