Industrialization

• To Become the top expert of Software/Hardware related with Failure Analysis of Electronic Control Units from SMT & Electrical Testing throughout the production lines of the ECU location, making sure our products fulfill technical specification required by our customers via Testing programs and specific Hardware.
• Provide Feedback to Process experts regarding real and false failures in order to improve Testing Process Performance.• To assure the Knowledge and Skills of his/her team so that all specifications regarding product characteristics are fulfilled via Detailed and specialized failure analysis at the production line at all times.

Quality

• Support of PFMEA and Control Plans preparation through his team.
• Define appropriate training needs for his team regarding the produced platforms in the location for proper and accurate failure analysis.
• Assure timely analysis of all parts and defining proper KPIs for his team.
• Support Quality Area for solving problems related with Customers rejects.
• Expert in Quality procedures for Release/Maintain/Optimize equipment/processes/methods in his responsibility.
• Participation in the problem solving methodology, as well as in the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions applicable to their activities.
• Jidoka lead for all related analyzed parts based on findings, escalation in case of actual quality related problems along samples production or serial production.
• Define Local Teams as required and applicable to solve problems.
• To keep the latest version of Failure Analysis Technology in use and for future applications
• To support internal and external Audits.
• To Analyze non-conformal ECU´s and report supplier/processes failures to Production (Start JIDOKA events)

NPL/SLM

• To keep the Analysis and Repair Inventory under control.
• Ensure the availability of Failure Analysis software/hardware for the execution of Tests in all new ECUs (PV, PPAPS, PA, etc.)
• Support APQP in activities required for customer approval.
• Ensure the availability of analysis equipment:

Production

• Support with data and analysis the improvement of FPY an FTP
• Assure the production targets are met : Cycle Time, Scrap, [ ECU´s/Hr
• Assure his team shows transparency to report failures from non-conformal ECU´s in timely manner via appropriate communication means according to criteria.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
• English (Intermediate, able to communicate)
• Leadership & People management experience
• Knowledge in Electricity, Electronics & Digital Electronics
• Knowledge in Electronics parts assembly processes
• PCBs populated Testing Technologies 
  • Final Functional Testing of ECUs Technologies.
