Within Retail, we are continuing to evolve how pricing is shaped. The Centre of Excellence Manager – Pricing plays a key role in this change bridging everyday pricing operations with strategic planning, making sure our pricing principles remain fit for purpose as our five‑year strategy takes shape.

Sitting at the heart of Retail, this role is a critical strategic voice. You’ll enable confident, well‑balanced decisions by championing thoughtful pricing frameworks, integrating customer and product insights, and providing clear, trusted advice to senior leaders. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape how pricing drives growth, customer outcomes, and long term value at Contact.

You’ll sit within our Retail’s team and lead the pricing strategy across our portfolio. You’ll balance day to day pricing activity with forward looking strategic thinking, ensuring pricing supports our financial commitments, growth ambitions, brand positioning, and regulatory obligations.

You’ll lead a capable pricing team and work closely with product, marketing, data, and Retail leadership to embed pricing into broader initiatives, from new product frameworks to future capability development.

This is a role for someone who enjoys complexity, values collaboration, and can connect commercial insight to real world outcomes.

Qualifications

You’re a commercially strong, strategic leader who thinks beyond margin alone.

You bring a holistic view of pricing, understanding its impact on customers, products, brand, and growth, and you’re comfortable navigating trade‑offs in a matrix environment.

You enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, leading people through change, and translating insight into action.

You don’t need deep technical pricing systems expertise, but you do bring strong judgement, curiosity, and the confidence to influence senior decision‑making.

  • 7–10 years’ experience connecting data and analysis to commercial outcomes
  • Proven experience designing and delivering pricing strategies that drive growth and value
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience developing and empowering teams
  • Strategic thinking skills, including scenario planning and “what if” analysis
  • Comfort working in complex, fast‑moving environments with competing priorities
