JOB TITLE : Web Developer

Responsibilities:

* Participate in UI design sessions across several application redesign efforts.

* Design, implement, test all changes needed across each system build.

* Participate in production support for resulting areas of responsibility.

* Support Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

* Web designers might also be responsible for the maintenance of an existing site.

* Continuous performance optimization of our RoR application.

* The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming.

* Desire and ability to document code, and write documentation in support of the software.

Requirements :

* Adequate knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Python relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming , web application development.

* Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.

* Comfortable working with relational database systems such as MySQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.

* Familiar with JavaScript and Css3 / html5.

* Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

Eligibility :

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field.

* Advanced degree is a plus.
