Job Description

As the Senior Advisor Communications Philanthropy, you will become a trusted advisor to several programmatic areas of our organisation. Your role will be to develop and implement a strategic communications plan aligned with the teams’ grantmaking objectives, the organisation’s unique voice and values, and the diverse brands and stakeholders relevant to the specific focus areas. Reporting to the Team Lead Communications of our functional area, you will contribute towards accelerating systems change among business leaders, policymakers, financiers, academics, and civil society actors at international, national, and sectoral levels. Your guidance and communication efforts will contribute to the organisation’s impact and influence.

Qualifications

Professional and/or academic qualifications relevant to the role.

  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands
  • 7+ years of proven experience in developing and executing international influence strategies across (marketing) communications, branding, media relations, and advocacy.
  • Agency, vendor and freelancer management experience is required.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural contexts.

  • Hybrid working opportunity. We have a fantastic Amsterdam office for you to work in and believe you can also be effective at home. We aim for a 40/60 office/home work balance.
  • You may work remotely from any location in the world for 10 days per calendar year.
  • Compensation ranging from 66.000 to 80.000 per year on a full time basis, based on experience and skills.
