About the role

As our Learning Specialist, you will be a member of the People Team in CPS. Your role is to design and co-ordinate learning and talent-related activities for the Constanter Universe. You will be part of a team of 15, reporting to the Head of People.

About the team

The People Team provides HR services to the Constanter Universe. Our team of experts and specialists include: Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, Total Rewards, Learning and Talent Development, People Services, Payroll and internal Communication. In addition to providing expertise and support in these areas, we are responsible for developing our organisational culture, improving the employee experience and advancing our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

What you will be doing

  • Working with the Head of People and our two Business Partners to create an annual learning plan
  • Designing and developing in-house learning resources for our online employee portal
  • Co-ordinating learning events and programmes in line with our organisational calendar
  • Working with our internal Communications Team to promote learning resources and events
  • Monitoring participation in learning events / programmes throughout the year
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of learning programmes
  • Managing vendor relationships with our learning partners and suppliers
  • Providing advice and support to those looking for external professional development courses
  • Partnering with content experts in CPS (e.g. from Legal, IT, Finance, Operations, HR) to advise on the most effective ways to train our colleagues on our systems, processes and policies
  • Conduct learning needs assessment with key stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps
  • Partnering with the Learning Specialists in the philanthropies to support our development as a Learning Organisation

 

Your knowledge and skills

  • Highly productive, solid organisation and planning skills
  • Brings focus and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good collaboration skills
  • Able to handle challenging situations, be  resilient
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and projects
  • Facilitation and presentation skills a plus
  • Learning design experience a plus
  • Knowledge of learning systems (e.g. LMS or LXP) an advantage

Qualifications

Your qualifications and experience

  • 2-5 years’ experience in HR, Learning and/or Talent Development
  • Experience developing and implementing learning programmes and learning resources
  • Knowledge of various learning methods (such as: coaching, mentoring, facilitated, workshops, on-line learning, LMS, LXP)
  • Experience of evaluating effectiveness of learning initiatives and recommend improvements
  • Experience operating in an international environment with cultural differences useful
  • Experience of working in a philanthropy or not-for-profit environment an advantage

  • The salary range for this job is between 55.000 and 70.000 annually
  • 31 vacation days
  • 4 volunteering days 
  • Fixed term 12-month contract
  • Part-time employment (3-4 days/week) is possible.
  • We have our own pension fund (Provisum)
  • Hybrid working opportunity. We have a fantastic Amsterdam office for you to work in and believe you can also be effective at home. We aim for a 40/60 office/home work balance.
  • Wish to extend your holidays but don’t have any more vacation days left, you can work up to 10 days from any location in the world (we don’t cover travel and lodging though 😊)
