Job Description

Understands needs for management information and leads discussions on business requirements with senior colleagues. Takes a holistic view on reporting, is an expert in reporting methods, techniques, and interfaces with other systems. Designs and creates KPI dashboards to support performance conversations. Drives the improvement agenda on reporting and actively looks for ways to harmonize reporting across entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyses needs for management information from the different business users and determines the best solution to provide this information. Collects business requirements from users and leads alignment discussions on how to best present data and design dashboards.
  • Advises on, and supports, the definition of data, relationships and ownership (systems, organization). Creates and maintains logical data models and maps to information systems. Prepares and executes data conversion, migration, mass-updates, analyse data quality.
  • Acts as subject matter expert on data architecture and data management. Advises on, and supports, the data classification, security and compliance to data privacy and security regulations.
  • Identifies the need for interfaces with other systems, design interfaces and supports the development and implementation.
  • Develops PowerBI dashboards and reports, Salesforce reports and dashboards, system administration and maintenance of the PowerBI environment. Investigates and solves incidents and problems.
  • Trains colleagues in using dashboards and reports and in developing their own. Develops training materials and documentation. Encourages, enables and facilitates the sharing of knowledge across the key users. Advises on best-practice usage, shares tips & tricks.
  • Leads the improvement agenda for streamlining of reports across different entities. Designs proposals for improvement and collects support from stakeholders for implementation.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in analytics and reporting, preferably in a financial environment
  • High-level proficiency in Excel and PowerBI; demonstrated experience in data visualization, design, development and implementation of dashboards
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft D365 is a plus
  • Experience with financial modelling/forecasting, KPI monitoring, dashboard design and risk assessment
  • Experience with data management, data mapping, and data quality assessment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solution-focused; able to break down complex problems and communicate options for mitigation/resolution
  • Highly analytical; able to provide consolidated reports and in-depth analysis
  • Ownership; able to work independently, proactive, and organize his/her own work efficiently

  • Offering a salary between €55.000 - €70.000 depending on experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands
  • Availability for 40 hours per week

  • Hybrid working opportunity. We have a fantastic Amsterdam office for you to work in and believe you can also be effective at home. We aim for a 40/60 office/home work-balance
