We are seeking an experienced and professional Bar Manager to join our team at Constance Ephelia, a prestigious luxury resort located in the stunning Seychelles. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all bar operations, lead a dynamic team of bartenders and bar staff, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our discerning international guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hospitality whilst managing profitability, inventory, and compliance within our bar operations.

• Lead, train, and supervise bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring consistent service standards across all shifts
• Manage all aspects of bar operations, including stock control, ordering, and inventory management to minimise wastage and maximise profitability
•  Develop and implement bar procedures, policies, and protocols in line with organisational standards and health and safety regulations
•  Create and manage bar menus, including signature cocktails and beverage selections that appeal to our diverse guest base
•  Monitor cash handling, reconcile till systems, and ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting
•  Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages to provide expert recommendations to guests
•  Ensure compliance with licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol, and all relevant health and safety requirements
•  Analyse sales data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and revenue enhancement
• Coordinate with other departments to support events, functions, and special occasions
•  Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bar environment that reflects the resort's luxury standards
•  Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty
•  Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide ongoing training and development opportunities

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar senior bar operations role in a luxury hospitality environment
• Deep understanding of spirits, beer, and classic or craft mixology.
•  Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage management, and mixology
•  Demonstrated leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
•  Proficiency with POS systems and bar management software
•  Excellent cash handling and financial management abilities
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
•  Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work effectively under pressure
•  Attention to detail and organisational skills
•  Desirable experience in luxury resort or high-end hospitality establishments
• Desirable knowledge of mixology and cocktail creation
•  Desirable experience in staff training and development programmes
•  Desirable familiarity with event coordination and management
•  Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by resort operations
