Job Description
We are seeking a Guest Service Assistant to join our team at Constance Moofushi, Maldives. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our resort, delivering exceptional service to our guests whilst ensuring their stay is memorable and comfortable. Working within our island resort environment, you will provide personalised assistance and support to create positive guest experiences from arrival through departure.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide comprehensive information about resort facilities, activities, and services • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and concerns throughout their stay • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience • Maintain detailed records of guest preferences and special requests to personalise future interactions
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfil guest requests and resolve issues efficiently • Provide recommendations for dining, activities, and excursions tailored to individual guest interests • Support the organisation of resort events and activities, ensuring guest participation and satisfaction • Maintain a clean and organised guest services area, including reception and common spaces
- Handle guest feedback constructively and escalate concerns to management when necessary • Demonstrate knowledge of local attractions, culture, and services available on the island • Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, documentation, and communication • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent service standards across all guest touchpoints
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or guest-facing roles • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are desirable • Strong interpersonal and people skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards • Flexibility and adaptability to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and reservation software • Knowledge of the Maldives, island operations, or resort environments is desirable • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and a customer-focused mindset • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move around the resort
