Job Description

Constance Lemuria, a luxurious resort in the beautiful Seychelles, is seeking an Assistant Guest Relations Manager to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high standards of service.

  • Assist the Guest Relations Manager in overseeing daily operations of the guest relations department
  • Welcome and greet guests, providing a warm and professional first impression
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues
  • Manage guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction
  • Assist in training and mentoring guest relations staff
  • Organize and coordinate special events, activities, and personalized experiences for guests
  • Maintain accurate guest records and preferences in the hotel management system
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing VIP guest arrivals and stays
  • Contribute to the development of guest relations strategies and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in guest relations or hospitality management, preferably in a luxury resort setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in hotel management software
  • Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and practices
  • Understanding of Seychelles tourism industry preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and ability to remain calm under pressure
