Constance Halaveli, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a professional and decisive Health & Safety Executive to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of our guests and staff in our unique island setting. • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures for the resort • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all areas of the property • Lead incident investigations, analyse root causes, and recommend corrective actions

• Design and deliver engaging safety training programmes for all staff members • Manage emergency response planning and coordinate drills • Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations • Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations • Monitor and report on key health and safety performance indicators • Oversee occupational health programmes and promote employee wellness initiatives • Address unique safety challenges associated with a remote tropical island environment 

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field • NEBOSH or IOSH certification • Minimum of 2 years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices • Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels • Proficiency in health and safety management software and Microsoft Office suite • Experience in tropical or remote location safety management is highly desirable • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment • Willingness to live and work on a remote island in the Maldives
• Experience and working knowledge of HACCP, Green Globe, ISO standards, and related certifications
