Job Description
Constance Halaveli, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Relation Host with French language skills to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our French-speaking guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of extraordinary.
- Welcome and assist French-speaking guests throughout their stay, providing a warm and personalised experience • Anticipate and fulfil guest needs, addressing queries and resolving concerns promptly and efficiently • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction • Conduct resort orientations and provide information about facilities, activities, and local attractions • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for guests
- Manage guest feedback and complaints, taking appropriate action to maintain high satisfaction levels • Organise and oversee special events or arrangements for guests, such as celebrations or excursions • Maintain accurate guest records and preferences using the resort's hospitality management system • Act as a cultural ambassador, sharing knowledge about Maldivian culture and traditions with guests • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and exceed expectations
Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken • Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, or a customer service role • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency in hospitality management systems and computer applications • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred) • Knowledge of Maldivian culture and tourism industry (preferred) • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences • Calm and composed demeanour, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully
