We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to join our team at the luxurious Constance Moofushi resort in the Maldives. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our tropical paradise, ensuring our guests experience a lush and vibrant environment throughout their stay.

• Perform regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas
• Plant, prune, and care for a wide variety of tropical plants, flowers, and trees
• Implement and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health
• Monitor and manage pest and disease issues using environmentally friendly methods
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Collaborate with the resort team to create and execute landscaping projects
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all garden areas
• Advise on plant selection and placement to enhance the resort's aesthetic appeal
• Adapt gardening techniques to suit the unique tropical island environment
• Contribute to the resort's sustainability efforts through efficient water use and eco-friendly practices

• Proven experience in gardening or landscaping, preferably in a resort or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of tropical plant species and their care requirements
• Proficiency in using various gardening tools and equipment
• Understanding of irrigation systems and water management
• Ability to identify and address common plant pests and diseases
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in a tropical climate
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Horticultural qualification or relevant certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to swim and comfort working near water (due to the island location)
