We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Intern to join our team at our luxurious resort in Constance Moofushi, Maldives. This exciting opportunity will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of food and beverage operations within a tropical island setting.

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining
• Support the service team in providing exceptional customer experiences to our guests
• Learn and apply food and beverage service techniques and standards
• Assist in the preparation of dining areas, including table settings and décor
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and special dietary requirements
• Participate in team briefings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas
• Support the organisation and execution of special events and themed nights
• Contribute to the improvement of service procedures and guest satisfaction
• Gain exposure to various aspects of food and beverage management, including inventory control and cost management

• Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to live and work in a tropical island environment
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in the hospitality industry
