Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a talented and creative Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our culinary team. As a key member of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our discerning guests.

• Prepare a wide range of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for the resort's restaurants and banquet events
• Assist in menu planning and development of new pastry items
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry products
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff
• Collaborate with other kitchen teams to ensure smooth service operations
• Contribute to the overall success of the pastry department by sharing ideas and participating in team meetings

• Culinary degree or diploma in pastry arts
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role
• Proven expertise in various pastry preparation techniques and baking skills
• Strong knowledge of international desserts and pastry trends
• Experience in luxury hotel or resort settings preferred
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Food safety certification
