Job Description

Constance Moofushi, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Assistant with Italian language skills to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Italian-speaking guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional.

  • Welcome and assist Italian-speaking guests throughout their stay, providing a warm and personalised experience
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfil guest needs and resolve issues
  • Provide information about resort facilities, activities, and local attractions
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for guests
  • Manage reservations and bookings for restaurants, spa treatments, and excursions
  • Translate and interpret when necessary to facilitate communication between guests and staff
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the hotel management system
  • Promote and upsell resort services and amenities to enhance guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies and procedures while maintaining the highest standards of customer service

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse environment
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel management software
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Hospitality Management is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Maldivian culture and tourism is beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
