Job Description

Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a dedicated Guest Relations Officer with fluency in Chinese and Arabic. This role is crucial in ensuring our international guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay at our world-class property.

  • Welcome and assist German and Italian -speaking guests, providing a warm and professional first impression of the resort
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfil guest requirements and resolve any issues
  • Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth experience for guests
  • Act as a liaison between guests and hotel management when necessary
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel's database system
  • Organise and coordinate special events or activities for guests
  • Promote the resort's services and upsell when appropriate
  • Ensure all interactions with guests adhere to the highest standards of customer service

Qualifications

  • Fluency in German and  Italian, with excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and general computer skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating lasting memories
