We are seeking a talented and personable Bartender to join our team at the luxurious Constance Halaveli resort in the Maldives. As a Bartender in our tropical paradise, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable experiences for our discerning guests from around the world.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, to the highest standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage bar inventory, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately, handling cash and card transactions
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with current drink trends and suggest new additions to the beverage menu
• Assist in training new bar staff and supporting the team during busy periods
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including responsible service of alcohol

• Proven experience as a Bartender, preferably in a luxury resort or high-end establishment
• Excellent knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, wines, beers, and spirits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bartending certification (desirable)
• Food safety and hygiene certification
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to adapt to living and working in a remote island setting
