Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide outstanding service and exceptional experience to all our guests.
  • Manage the operation flow, ensuring all resort policies, procedures, regulations, and standards are followed.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Front office services.
  • Utilise multi-tasking skills and ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create memorable and unique experiences for guests based on their preferences and ensure all guests' complaints are handled by respective departments, being visible when any assistance is needed.
  • Exhibit flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
  • Ensure smooth communication between all departments.
  • Collaborate with Reception to ensure all preparation for next day arrivals is ready for the morning shift.
  • Inform Housekeeping of early room check-outs at the start of their shift.
  • Be knowledgeable of all property Management systems.
  • Take responsibility for training the Front office team and maintain LRA standards.
  • Coordinate with all other relevant departments regarding daily operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage and resolve escalated guest issues, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and daily financial reconciliations.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

 

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a 5-star international hotel
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; proficiency in Italian, German or French; additional languages advantageous
  • Experience in luxury resorts, preferably in tropical locations
  • Proven leadership capabilities and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts
  • Experience in managing multi-cultural teams
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and point of sale (POS) software
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of customer service
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
