Job Description

A global manufacturer of precision components is currently recruiting a Master Production Scheduler. Candidates must have experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning and have worked in a manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Leicester, Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Lutterworth, Tamworth, Rugby, Loughborough, Corby, Market Harborough.

Salary: £ 33,000 - £ 38,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

The Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for the following:

Defining the daily and weekly production plans

Manage capacity planning and resources to ensure products are completed On Time In Full

Maintain and update the ERP and MRP system

Update production team on any changes or possible issues

Analysing and revising production plans and updating deadlines

Attend daily production meetings to ensure production flow is efficient and to schedule

Identify root cause of any issues and implement corrective actions

The Candidate

Candidates will have prior experience in production planning and master scheduling within an engineering or manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of capacity planning with inventory control. Good communication and people skills are essential and you will be experienced using ERP/MRP tools and systems
