Position Description

The Communications Coordinator will play a key part in communicating the firm’s unique point of view on the issues that matter most to our clients. The senior coordinator will work closely with many areas of the business to create, edit, and leverage marketing content across all communication channels to enhance client engagement and increase digital traffic. In addition, the role will coordinate and support various firm marketing communications and internal communications efforts. 

This is a role for someone with strong experience in corporate communications, who is a skilled writer and creative thinker, can interact effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and can successfully coordinate multiple projects and deadlines. 


Under the supervision of the Manager, Marketing Communications, the senior coordinator will: 

• Help effectively communicate our key messages in innovative ways in support of the firm’s business development strategy; 

• Contribute to strategic planning and development of firm marketing communications and internal communications, including researching, writing, and editing a wide range of content; 

• Coordinate with Business Development, Public Relations, Alumni Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility teams, as well as other stakeholders, to develop and implement integrated communications plans to effectively tell the firm’s story to target audiences; 

• Support and contribute to the redesign, evolution, and ongoing management of the firm intranet; 

• Assist with a variety of digital marketing initiatives, including the firm website and social media; 

• Keep apprised of current trends and best practices to drive traffic, increase readership, and contribute to the development of new communication tools; 

• Work overtime as required; and 

• Handle additional related projects as assigned. 

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who have: 

• Bachelor’s degree; 

• At least 4 years of experience working in a corporate communications/professional services/digital marketing environment; 

• At least 4 years of experience coordinating and creating content for corporate intranets and websites; 

• Advanced knowledge of corporate communications and marketing resources, principles, procedures, and concepts; 

• Advanced experience in B2B communications and related marketing; and 

• Working knowledge of technical principals and best practices for electronic communications.
