This is a key role, responsible for establishing and maintaining the core quality management function and the  Workplace Health and Safety [WHS] function.

 

Scope Of Role

As the Systems Coordinator you will report to, and support the Quality, Workplace Health & Safety Consultant to lead the development and implementation of an effective Quality, Workplace Health & Safety Management Systems and Processes in a high growth, scale-up organisation. This role integrates closely with  the Operations team members to ensure that all operational processes are compliant with legislation, Codes of Practice and relevant standards, while being innovative, efficient and facilitate the provision of quality services that surpasses our competitors.

You will receive guidance and direction from the QWHS Consultant and work closely with the COO, Executive team and Subject Matter Experts from across the business’ operations, to:

  • Review current operating processes and governance.
  • Support the implementation of a robust Quality  &  WHS Management Systems, inclusive of staff training and protocols for ongoing learning and development.  
  • Support the implementation of effective systems to monitor and measure quality systems implementation.
  • Support the implementation of methods to monitor performance against quality standards and company objectives and KPI’s to support continuous improvement. 
  • Assist to develop a robust, suitable, practical resourcing and continuity plan for ongoing management of the Quality  & WHS Management Systems to relevant standards pre / post establishment and ISO certification.
  • Assist  the Senior Management Team to obtain:
    •  ISO 9001:2015 quality management system accreditation.
    • ISO 13131:2017 Health informatics – TELEHEALTH SERVICES
  • Support and assist the development of training modules to improve organisational knowledge and to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and company operating procedures.
  • Work with the Senior Operations team to develop and manage the risk management system to ensure robust methods, principles and rules are in place to identify, analyse, assess and communicate risks to minimise any threats to the business and brand.
  • Train and educate the staff and contract team members about Quality Standards, Quality and  WHS management systems to ensure continuous improvement processes are fully integrated into all aspects of their business  by conducting reviews of annual internal audit reports.
  • Monitor relevant legislation and regulations, inform and staff and management about legislative changes.  Plan and implement any required changes to ensure all operational systems remain compliant.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role 

You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably a minimum Cert IV or Diploma in Quality or WHS Management).
  • Experience in design, implementation and review of quality management systems.
  • Proven track record in monitoring compliance to applicable laws, regulations, requirements and standards.
  • Previous Quality or WHS Management experience in the health services sector will be desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a Quality or WHS team.
  • Experience from a telehealth or call centre environment.
