What you’ll be doing?

• Create and take ownership of data science projects from start to finish: conceptualization, data gathering, modeling, analysis, presentation, productionalization/ deployment in production, monitoring, and iterating on improvements;

• Be part of our BigData & Machine Learning team and responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets and identify meaningful patterns that lead to actionable recommendations;

• This position will combine the typical Data Scientist math and analytical skills, with research, advanced business, communication, and presentation skills;

• Perform statistical analysis across diverse datasets to drive and measure performance;

• Extract and process data from various sources and platforms as required for analytical projects;

• Solve non-trivial problems using applied mathematics, statistical methods and ML algorithms;

• Work closely with engineers and help team to deploy and scale end-to-end products in the production environment;

• Design and implement dashboards for key performance indicators;

• Understand industry and product trends / problems / behaviour in order to be able to correctly extract info from data;

What We’re Looking For?

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in big data analysis or related field. (e.g. as a statistician /data scientist/engineer/developer);

• Advance Degree - Master or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative disciplines,

• Experience in Python, R, SQL and/or MATLAB;

• Ability to do statistical modeling, build predictive models and leverage machine learning algorithms;

• Creative problem solving and analytical skills to provide insights on areas of improvement;

• A real passion for technology and the ability to learn new technologies;

• Experience with data visualization software;

• Experience with NLP - an advantage;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders, to explain methodologies and results to business partners;
