Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure each customer’s success and satisfaction. This role requires product knowledge of our software, a solid understanding of software technology, and an ability to work directly with customers by phone, email, customer portal, and chat to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with a variety of international customers over the phone, and via email in a polite, positive and professional manner.

  • Research issues and identify potential solutions while providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Respond to the needs and questions of customers concerning their compliance requirements.

  • Ensure continuous monitoring and follow-up of customer issues until they are resolved.

  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction.

  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and externally.

  • Resolve problems independently; understand and follow escalation procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Experience in web technologies and debugging or troubleshooting - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Web Debugging Tools.

  • Customer oriented mentality.

  • Ability to research, diagnose and resolve technical issues while paying high attention to details.

  • Flexibility to change direction and focus based on the needs of the department or business goals.

  • Be a fast learner with a keen eye for complex systems and models.

  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve a diverse range of software issues.

  • Structured approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to self-manage and take initiative.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of web development processes, tools and languages including JSON, REST, and Git.

  • Basic database and SQL experience.
