Job Description

The Solutions Engineer will have the responsibility to support the Sales Team in their pursuit of new business and upsell opportunities for Conga’s product line by providing subject matter expertise, demo delivery, technical feasibility of the proposed solution, and developing strong relationships.  This integral team member will be a subject matter expert for Conga’s product suite and will drive meaningful discovery conversations and targeted demonstrations in support of this solution. It is important that one have a strong customer centric mentality and genuine curiosity for the breadth of the customers’ real business challenges, along with the ability to match our growing solution set to solve them.  Conga has grown its customer base due to our excellent customer success, and it is important that you embody that as we continue to grow. 


  • Work directly with Sales Team by providing subject matter and product expertise on our Conga solutions
  • Help customers and prospects find a solution to their business challenges via our growing solution set
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Engage with customers and prospects directly when necessary to provide support for sales activities  
  • Capture all relevant details pertaining to existing opportunities in support of Sales Team and facilitate effective implementation and support via knowledge transfer
  • Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations, technical presentations and pilot/proof of concept activities
  • Travel to visit customers as required



  • BS or BA degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior pre-sales engineering experience highly preferred
  • Software demo experience
  • High level of business acumen
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred (administrator and/or developer certification a plus)
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions preferred but not required
  • Candidate should be self-confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have an ambition to succeed
  • Must have the ability to take joint ownership of the assigned accounts/opportunities with the Territory Manager and Customer Success management on technical issues
  • Ability to connect with customers to become a trusted technical advisor
  • Team player with ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, operations, etc.
