Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive product architecture definition, low-level design, and collaboration related to supply chain and merchandising technologies to ensure consistency within the Infor Retail product to align with the broader enterprise solution architecture and roadmap
- Contribute to the definition, development, testing, and deployment of a leading Supply Chain & Merchandising ERP, in coordination with additional Pricing and Item management SaaS solutions
- Analyze and maintain current state and future state roadmaps and technical artifacts for supply chain and merchandising solutions, harmonizing dependencies to ensure feasibility of roadmaps and architectural design
- Consult with products owners and business partners to understand, analyze feasibility, and map key technical capabilities within a product to systems, software partners, and/or projects
- Consult with application and/or infrastructure teams to identify gaps and/or modifications to the solution architecture to accommodate project needs
- Coordinate with other enterprise architects, solution architects, and information architects to create and maintain enterprise architecture key artifacts, including: solution blueprint, data blueprint, and information blue print
- Coordinate with WFM Shared IT and Business Team Stay up-to-date on the technology industry and market trends to determine potential impact in the digital business and emerging technology space
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Five or more years of technology implementation and architecture work experience, ideally with supply chain ERP or merchandising ERP solutions preferred
- Three or more years of experience with large scale application design patterns and principles preferred
- Technical experience with programs/projects related to at least three of the following capability areas:
- Item Management
- Item, Supplier, & Logistics Cost Management
- Retail Purchasing & Ordering
- Inventory Management & Control
- Retail Sales Audit & Invoice Matching
- Price Management
- Allocation & Replenishment
- Experience working with projects or programs that involved Predictix, Infor, or other cloud-based software-as-a-service solutions a plus
- Experience with grocery or retail business area activities a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
- Empathy for and identification with the leaders and employees in the organization affected by changes in the digital workplace.
- Analytical skills. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, and an affinity for managing and maintaining various simultaneous tracks of work.
- Ability to effectively drive people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
- Fearless — not afraid to suggest or back big ideas. Tenacious — able to push back and focus the information discovery process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. This includes the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists, and the ability to sell ideas and processes internally at all levels, including the board and investors.
