We see your role as assisting the Unit Manager in building the retail business, a culture of team work and passion for excellence.
Tim Hortons Operation:
a. Food preparation & Presentation
i. Ensure that all baking standards are followed and quality products are produced
i. Ensure that monthly promotions are adhered and fully participated
c. Ordering & Cost Management
i. Ensure that ordering are in line with business volume, to eliminate overage and shortages of products
ii. Inventory should be recorded on a weekly basis
iii. Maintain proper level of inventory and manage inventory rotation
2. Tim Hortons Audit:
a. Food Safety should be completed once a year ensuring all standards are met
b. Coffee Standards should be completed two (2) times/annual- proper training such as proper lids, writing on lids, 20 minutes on the pots, repeat order to customer, offer promos, coffee promise posted and coupons available
c. G.U.E.S.T should be completed four (4) times/annual. This includes completing all logs, online training is up to date, cleanliness of store, all staff in uniforms, adherence to food safety and that orders are taken correctly.
3. You are expected to be on the floor to ensure optimal level of service is maintained at peak times.
4. Ensure that good customer relationships are maintained and that the customers are satisfied with the services provided.
5. Strict compliance with Compass Group Canada’s policies mentioned below:
a. Quality Assurance
b. Health and Safety Program,
c. Occupational Health and Safety Act
d. WHMIS regulations
6. Other items
a. It has been noted that regular attendance is required to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the unit. While there may be legitimate reasons for occasional absences from work, your absenteeism has been excessive and has disrupted productivity and placed a burden on your co-workers.
b. We expect that you will lead by setting good example in the workplace. This includes creating a respectful and cooperative culture in the unit one in which all employees are treated fairly and professionally.
