The Video Operations Production Coordinator supports Comoto’s Content & Media department through production preparation, organization, booking talent, and process management. Your comprehensive studio readiness and on-set support includes coordinating the intake, tracking, preparation, and return of motorcycle parts, gear, and apparel used in our East Coast and West Coast studios, and on-location productions, talent preparation, collaboration with external vendors, and maintaining production spaces, and will work closely with our Brand Operations team for accuracy in project tracking.

Our next Video Operations Production Coordinator is responsible for:

Pre-Production & Post-Production (70%)

  • Order and track incoming and outgoing products, gear, and apparel.
  • Book models and prepare wardrobe.
  • Plan and book travel and lodging as needed for off-site shoots.
  • Maintain organization of pre-production and storage areas.
  • Participate in relevant production planning and coordination.
  • Coordinate product breakdown, reorganization, and return shipments.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and status updates of all products and assets.
  • Maintain and update workflows within production tracking systems.

Production Support (30%)

  • Provide general production assistant support during shoots.
  • Take shoot notes for post-production.
  • Prepare and manage host and model wardrobe.
  • Prepare and manage product on set.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of studio and prep areas.
  • Support team needs to ensure smooth and efficient production execution (including securing catering, ensuring practical needs such as first aid kits, water, and weather protection are available, etc.).

Qualifications

Our next Video Operations Production Coordinator brings:

  • A high level of organizational prowess with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 2–4 years of experience in project management, event coordination, or organizational logistics.
  • Demonstrates effective communication and proactive collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
  • Reliable, proactive, go-getter attitude with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing production needs and priorities.
  • Strong time management skills, takes direction well, and responds positively to feedback.

Technical & Tools Experience:

  • Proficient with digital tools including Google Workspace (Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs).
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, or similar workflow/project management tools is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing inventory, assets, or product workflows is preferred.

Production & Studio Familiarity (preferred):

  • Exposure to photo/video production environments or e-commerce studios (studio, agency, or content production setting) is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic production workflows, including pre-production, shoot day, and post-production handoff.
  • Familiarity with on-set terminology and basic production roles (producer, camera operator, talent, etc.) is a plus.

Logistics & On-Set Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and independent, reliable vehicle (for local gear, product, and equipment transport).
  • Comfortable performing hands-on, operational tasks including product handling and studio upkeep.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed for production schedules.

  • Ability to sit or work at a computer for extended periods as needed.
